Tragically, on January 15, 2024, Iran launched ballistic missiles at Kurdistan, claiming the lives of innocent civilians. We are currently living in an era marked by unprecedented technological advancement. It is disheartening to witness instances where civilians, who are dedicated to the progress and development of their nations, become targets of attacks. Again, it is disheartening that such attacks persist, highlighting a stark misalignment with the values of the 21st century. Among the casualties was an 11-month-young child, Zhina.
As we mourn the loss of this little angel, it is a sobering reminder of the human toll exacted by these reprehensible acts. We, as the Bawash Groups team, condemn the attack, reflecting on the shame brought upon those responsible for perpetrating violence against civilians, particularly a defenceless child.
